Kasia Thesen
I am a Registered and Certified Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Coach specializing in the developmental needs of children, youth, and teens. I work with families, schools, and sports teams to offer Yoga and Mindfulness programs that invite young people to slow down, tune in, and learn from within. My work is rooted in supporting self-regulation and embodied self-awareness — giving children practical tools to understand their bodies, emotions, and inner experiences.
My journey into this work began as a teenager, when I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Scoliosis. That experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about the relationship between body and mind, and a passion for creating movement and mindfulness practices that help young people develop early body awareness and self-trust.
With a background as a K–12 educator and as a parent, I design programs that are both developmentally informed and deeply human. I bring mindfulness out of theory and into real environments — classrooms, gyms, studios, and homes — in ways that feel accessible, playful, and meaningful.
My programs are shaped by my personal and professional experiences and guided by community connection. I believe in meeting children exactly where they are, honouring both individual needs and collective growth, and supporting the long-term well-being of the next generation.
