Kasia Thesen
As a Registered and Certified Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Coach specializing in the developmental needs of children, youth, and teens, I work within families, schools, and sports teams to offer Yoga & Mindfulness courses that encourage children to learn from within. My programs maintain a developmental focus, emphasizing Self-Regulation and embodied Self-Awareness strategies.
My journey began as a young teen when I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Scoliosis, a condition affecting the curvature of the spine. This diagnosis ignited my lifelong passion for creating embodied learning practices, with the central aim of fostering early awareness between the body and mind. Drawing from my background as a K-12 educator and as a parent, I integrate methods and outcomes that embody mindfulness practices within the environments I steward and create.
My responsive programs are informed by my personal and social trajectories, aiming to nurture a sustainable future for our children. Driven by community, I tailor my courses to meet both collective and individual needs, ensuring a holistic approach to well-being.
